The opening of the Johnnie L. Cochran Brain Tumor Center, dedicated to advancing promising treatments for brain cancer, attracted a dazzling array of entertainment industry luminaries for an afternoon luncheon and an elegant black-tie gala. The luncheon drew over 200 attendees, and featured a keynote address by the legendary Sidney Poitier, along with inspiring remarks from a 16-year-old former patient whose case was once considered hopeless.
